Drew Kocur named interim head coach and GM of the Estevan Bruins

The Eagle Sky Estevan Bruins have announced that Drew Kocur will serve as interim head coach and general manager for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.

Kocur, who joined as an assistant coach in 2023, previously led the Pilot Butte Storm to a Junior B Provincial Championship and earned Coach of the Year honours in the 2022-23 season.

The Bruins are currently fourth in the SJHL’s Viterra Division, holding a 12-18-4 record and sitting nine points out of a playoff spot, with 22 games remaining.

The team will face the Flin Flon Bombers tomorrow night, followed by a doubleheader against the Kindersley Klippers on the weekend.
