An old book could become a new treasure for someone else.  

Homebase Humboldt is currently accepting donations of new or gently used books to aid in their development of a book corner for their youth drop-in centre. 

Youth Mental Health and Addictions Counselor Katrina Hodgson says they want to provide an assortment of activities at the youth drop-in centre that provide a space that is safe, cozy and engaging for the youth. 

She says that since they work with individuals ranging from 12-25, that accepting a wide range of books from fiction, to non-fiction, young adult or anything that might pique the interest of the youth. 

 If you have a book that you would like to donate, you can drop it off at their main office 307 Main Street in Humboldt.
