Paul Phillip Loroff
August 5, 1930 – January 28, 2025

Paul Loroff was born on August 5th, 1930, on a farm near Viscount, SK, to Joseph Loroff and Rosey Besenski. He was the fifth of six children, Tony, Annie, Tina, Leo, and Martha. The homestead was only a ¼ mile from Easterly School, where he attended for three years. Work on the farm took priority after school. At age 14, he got his first job and Richman’s Department Store, later getting a higher paying job at the Co-op Creamery.  After working a few other jobs, he started working at Brockman Enterprises where he worked for over 25 years.

On November 28th, 1950, he married Louise Regenwetter, who was the love his life. They had two daughters, Dianna and Joann. He loved the outdoors, and the family went camping and fishing together.

Paul was a member of the Humboldt Fire Department for over 20 years. There he became friends with Joe Dutchak, who was his dearest friend, spending time with him and getting things for him until he passed away in St. Mary’s Villa. Joe was forever by his side and there at his beck and call.

Paul is survived by one daughter, JOANN Britz, her husband Leander, and their children Janet (Dave Dovits) and their children Anthony and Jada, and Jamie (Barett Gamble) and their children Hannah, Dawson, Chloe, and Kolby. He is also survived by son-in-law Gerald Zimmerman (Dianna +) and their children Michael (Jackie), Mathew (Julie) and their children Madison, Peyton, and Kailyn, and Rebecca and her son Anthony.     Paul was predeceased by his wife Louise, daughter Dianna, his brothers and sisters, with only Martha surviving.

A Celebration of Life for Paul will take place at a later date with interment to follow at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Paul may be directed to St. Mary’s Villa Foundation.
