Blatz has a way of finding humour in everyday moments. She openly shares that she lives with bipolar disorder—something that brings both vibrant highs and difficult lows. “It’s like I’m two different people,” Blatz says. “Either you see me laughing, or you don’t see me at all.” When she’s struggling, she often stays home, making it difficult to plan too far ahead. But when the good days come, she embraces them fully.

Talking about mental health hasn’t always been easy for Blatz but she’s found that being open with close friends has been freeing. “They say, ‘Just come over and sit here.’ That means so much,” she shares. Her honesty is a gift, reminding others facing similar struggles that they are not alone.
