Meet Fredrick, the all-around awesome bunny featured this week on Adorable Adoptables!
"Fredrick is a lion-headed bunny, and oh my gosh, he is gorgeous," says Tiffany Beaton, communications coordinator with the Humane Society. "He has wonderful hair and a little blue tint to his eyes, so he just has the sweetest little look to him."
Not only does Fredrick have the looks, but he also has the personality to match. He’s a social bunny who loves to be around people.
"He loves to come over and get your attention, and he definitely loves his snacks!"
Many people don’t know that the Humane Society also has small animals available for adoption.
"Lots of people don't know that. We have bunnies, guinea pigs, birds, hedgehogs, you name it!"
Bunnies like Fredrick make great pets, but they do require care and attention.
"Just because they're a small critter doesn’t mean they don’t need time. They can't just be a passive pet," Tiffany says.
"Make sure you have the space and time to give them the love they deserve."
