This year's theme for Missionfest Manitoba 2025 was "How Shall They Hear?" and brought thousands of Christians together in Winnipeg.

Friday evening was more geared towards youth and young adults, offering Andrew Goodman as the keynote on the main stage. There was a youth event happening in the theatre as well as an 'After Hours' concert with Scribe Music and Bread We Break.

"I heard there were about 900 young adults for the music and fellowship on Friday night!" says Debbie, one of the volunteers at Missionfest.

CHVN was live on location Saturday at Church of the Rock between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. chatting with people, broadcasting live, and giving away books.

Originally from California, Brian Hogan took centre stage twice on Saturday with the first session at 10 a.m. and the second at 7 p.m. Hogan gave his testimony, which included time reaching people for Jesus in Mongolia, as well as an encouragement for people to engage in missions work.

"Big thanks to all who attended missionfest," says volunteer, Russ. "It was a blessing to be part of. I'm sad to see it end. Big thanks to the committee...organizers ... And exhibits."

At 3 p.m. Goodman took the stage once more talking about the power of the cross. His work in missions spans over decades, reaching people with the gospel in East Asia.

On Sunday, Feb. 9, Nard Pugyao shared his powerful testimony of watching the translation of the Bible into his native language, Isnag, in the northern Philippines with Wycliffe Bible Translations over 66 years.

Thousands of people attended the annual conference that included live worship before each keynote speaker took the stage. There were also 19 breakout sessions over the course of Saturday and over 130 exhibitors offering information on what God is up to in their corner of the world.
