Harken back to the days of the British Invasion, the Ed Sullivan Show, and most importantly the Fab Four with Becoming the Beatles: Unplugged. It’s an all new multimedia and live musical show coming to the Wadena Community Legion Hall on Friday, March 14. The show is presented by the Quill Plains Regional Arts Council with the support of the Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils.

Becoming the Beatles incorporates a multimedia show with over 300 projections, 20 live songs, and intimate stories to unveil the journey of the legendary band. At the helm of the production is musical storyteller Haley Marie who performs live, integrating stories and little known lore on the band and its members.

Beyond a tribute offering, the performance seeks to uncover their early formative years, their resilience in the face of rejection, and both their influences and the cultural impact the quartet left on the musical and cultural landscape.

Haley Marie is a Yale educated musician who has committed years of research into the music of the Beatles, and those efforts have culminated in a dynamic musical delight that will take audiences deep into the music and the experiences that shaped it.

Tickets are $30 and are available at EK Dollar Variety & Trophies, Wadena Drugs, or Tait Business Centre. For e-transfer options, check the poster below.
