Just after 8 p.m., Rocky View County officials noted that emergency crews had responded to a wildfire burning on Tsuu T’ina lands near the Rocky View County boundary, north of the hamlet of Bragg Creek.

Multiple emergency services were on the scene, working to contain the fire.

There was no immediate need for evacuation. Crews had created fire breaks and secured additional water supplies. Windy conditions had prompted officials to monitor the situation closely and were prepared to respond if conditions changed.

At 9:40 p.m., officials confirmed that crews remained on scene, closely monitoring the wildfire. The fire had been contained, meaning crews successfully limited its spread. There was no immediate threat to structures or residents, and no evacuations were required.

Due to these stable conditions, officials stated they would provide further updates only if the situation changed.

Rocky View County officials thanked all emergency services and partner agencies for their coordinated response.
