Harold Melvin Thiessen, born February 7, 1929, in Greenfarm, SK, passed away on February 21, 2025, at The Meadows, Swift Current, SK. Harold was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, teacher, and friend, leaving behind an enduring legacy of faith, love, and dedication to others.

Harold and Elizabeth Tilitzky were married on August 19, 1955, and together they formed a close-knit family filled with love and cherished moments. His dedication to teaching and passion for education had a profound impact on many lives.

Harold leaves behind an outstanding legacy of a Christ-centered lifestyle, deeply rooted in his love for both family and friends. He often expressed how grateful he was for his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, cherishing the immense joy they brought into his life. His dedication to his family and his work as a teacher will be forever remembered.

Harold is survived by his spouse, Elsie; children Terry (Randy) Patey, Rod (Gloria) Thiessen, and Cheryl (Bob) Eyre; seven grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren, all of whom were his greatest joy. He is also survived by his sister, Doris (Les) Klassen.

Harold was predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Sarah Thiessen; his in-laws, Jake and Tina Tilitzky; and his siblings Leroy, Elmer, Elvera, and Wilma.

A Visitation will take place Sunday, March 2, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Swift Current Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Harold's life will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Bridgeway Community Church. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit and legacy will continue to inspire those who knew and loved him.
