Christians from across the world will be gathered for a time of prayer, worship, and teaching.
Gather25 is led by a collection of ministries, partners, and leaders and hopes to see every Christian from every denomination from every continent come together for a full day of worship, repentance and commissioning in 2025.
Jennie Allen developed the idea in 2022 based on the question, "What if Jesus came back in 10 years?"
For over 25 hours, Believers will be connected through live stream technologies with a Gather Group happening at Albright Church.
"We've been really excited. We can't believe it's here already, " Carolyn Orzech who is part of the planning team said. "We've partnered with another church Immanuel Fellowship Church."
As the body of Christ gathers together, Orzech says it is vital. "We wanted to reach out to as many churches as we could and gather with as many as we could. I know there are about 12 other churches in the city who are also host or or gather host sites. So that's been really incredible to see. We have some locally and a lot in rural Manitoba."
Gather25 kicks off Friday through Saturday and Orzech is excited to see what comes through this event. "We're just really excited to see what God's doing all over the world and what He's going to do this weekend in our community." Orzech said.
Gather25 is a come-and-go event on Friday, February 28, from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. and again on Saturday, March 1, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Gather Group is hosted at Albright Church at 415 Maxwell King Drive, East St. Paul in partnership with Immanuel Fellowship. It is free to attend, but registration is needed. You can register here. Food and childcare is provided.
