The 13-year-old who was reported missing from Red Deer has been located and is safe.

Red Deer RCMP previously issued a request for public assistance after she was last seen in Red Deer on Wednesday, Feb. 26, and was believed to possibly be in the Didsbury, Edmonton or Stettler areas.

Red Deer RCMP would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance.
