The Weyburn Cornhole League is excited to host their next tournament on Saturday, March 8th. Located at 419 Hunt St. In Weyburn, it’ll be a fun night of socializing and cornholing. The event starts at 7:00 P.M. and all you need to bring is a pair of indoor shoes to join. As board member, Dallas Burnett explains, you can enter in as a single player to join the fun.

“The way we run it, it's called Switchholio. Everyone enters as a single player, and we have a round-robin where you're matched up with a random person for about four rounds. That kind of ranks everybody on their skill level, and then after those four rounds, you're then paired up with somebody. They'll put a better player with a lesser player so that it’s fair for everyone.”

Cornhole is a fun game for all ages, which you throw handheld beanbags and try to put it through a hole on the opposing board, and points are scored from there. All you need are some good indoor shoes and a fun attitude, as Burnett mentions, anyone can play.

“It’s fun for any age. We've got younger kids playing, we've got older folks playing, it’s a great sport for anybody and everybody enjoys it. We’ve got a cash prize, but like I said it’s all about having fun.”
