It’s the final weekend for AA minor hockey teams in Saskatchewan, with Provincial/League playoffs set to begin next week.
The U18 AA Humboldt Broncos finish off their regular season with a pair of home games, on Friday night they host the West Central Wheat Kings at 7:15. The regular season finale is on Saturday at 5:00 with a rematch between the two teams. Humboldt is currently in 7th spot, but a pair of wins could move them up a couple of spots in the standings.
The U15 AA Humboldt Broncos are in 9th spot heading into the weekend with two games remaining. They host the West Central Wheat Kings at the EPA on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 and then they finish off the regular season at home against the Saskatoon Generals at home on Sunday afternoon at 1:30. Humboldt trails Prince Albert by one point for the final playoff spot, two points back of the Saskatoon Stallions for 7th and three points back of the Saskatoon Outlaws for 6th.
The U13 AA Humboldt Broncos have finished off their regular season with a 15-7-2 record and will finish 4th in the North Division.
