SaskPower holding information sessions in Estevan for SMR tomorrow

SaskPower has announced that they will be holding some info sessions for people over the following days about the plan to develop a small modular reactor near Estevan.

They've previously held information sessions for the town, with many of them held before the official announcement that Estevan was the chosen location.

Estevan residents will be able to find them at the Estevan Shoppers’ Mall on March 4 between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. to learn about the project.

The province expects to see a final investment decision in 2029, with that SMR built sometime in the mid-2030s.
