Estevan Fire Rescue crews responded to multiple calls over the past week, including two structure fires, a carbon monoxide alarm, and a motor vehicle collision.

On Feb. 24, Estevan Fire Rescue responded to commercial fire alarms on the north side of the city. Crews spoke to the building manager and determined the cause of the alarm. The scene was turned over to management, and crews returned to service.

Later that day, EFR responded to a two-vehicle collision. Once on scene, crews assisted other agencies before returning to the station.

On Feb. 25, EFR responded to a reported structure fire in the southeast part of the city. Once on scene, no active fire was found. Crews cleared the scene and returned to the station.

That same day, crews responded to a structure fire on the northwest side of the city. They encountered a working fire, and all units remained on scene for about three hours. The fire remains under investigation.

On March 2, EFR responded to a carbon monoxide alarm in the north part of the city. Once on scene, crews detected CO in the residence. SaskEnergy also attended.
