Outdoor ice rinks close for the season in Estevan

With warmer temperatures arriving, outdoor ice rinks in Estevan have officially closed for the season.

The city announced that both the rinks and their warm-up shacks are no longer in operation as the ice conditions deteriorate.

Officials thanked residents for another successful season and expressed appreciation for the staff and volunteers who maintained the rinks throughout the winter.

“These individuals braved the cold to ensure the rinks were ready for the community to enjoy,” the city stated.

While outdoor skating has wrapped up, residents can still take advantage of indoor ice time at Affinity Place and Power Dodge Arena.
