The regular season for AA hockey teams in the province came to an end with the playoffs set to begin this week.
Playoff series consist of a best of three series. Reseeding will occur after each round.
The U18 AA Humboldt Broncos finished their season in 7th place in the North Division with a 19-11-2-1 record. They will meet the Martensville Marauders who ended up in 2nd place in the opening round. Game one is Wednesday night in Martensville with game two in Humboldt on Saturday afternoon at 3:00. If necessary, game three is back in Martensville on Sunday.
The U13 AA Humboldt Broncos ended up in 4th place in the North Division with a 15-7-2 record. They will also face the Martensville Marauders in the opening round after they finish in 5th place. Game one is on Wednesday night in Humboldt at 7:30. Game two is in Martensville. If a third game is required, it will be back in Humboldt on Sunday night at 6:45.
The U15 AA Humboldt Broncos didn’t qualify for the playoffs, ending up with a 13-12-2-2 record and in a tie with the 8th place Prince Albert Venice House Pirates, but Prince Albert has the tiebreaker and qualified for the playoffs.
