Another member of the Humboldt Broncos will be playing US PORTS next season.
Defenceman Liam Rodman has committed to the Dalhousie University Tigers for the 2025-26 season.
Dalhousie University is located in Halifax, NS and competes in the Atlantic University Sport (AUS) Division of U-SPORTS.
Rodman was acquired by the Broncos at the SJHL trading deadline back in January. He was a pair of assists in 16 games with the green and gold along with 24 PIMS.
Before joining the Broncos, the Saskatoon product spent time in the AJHL with Fort McMurray, the BCHL with Nanaimo and in the SJHL with the Melville Millionaires. He was the 16th overall selection by the Notre Dame Hounds in the 2019 U15 SJHL Draft.
In a team release, Broncos HC/GM Brayden Klimosko said, “Roddy has been a quiet leader ever since we acquired him. His game though, is loud. He finishes his checks, defends very hard, and makes it miserable for the opposition to get to the front of our net. That’s the type of player that Dalhousie is getting. Roddy has a bright future ahead of him and we wish him all the best at the U-SPORTS level.”
