Estevan police responded to multiple incidents over the past few days, including a report of mischief at Estevan Comprehensive School, two impaired driving arrests, and several compliance checks on individuals bound by release conditions.
A vehicle parked at Estevan Comprehensive School was reported for mischief on March 3, and police are investigating the incident. On the same day, officers responded to a disturbance involving an intoxicated male at a local convenience store, where he was warned and sent home. Police also conducted compliance checks on individuals bound by release conditions, finding all in compliance.
The following day, EPS assisted a 45-year-old woman with two separate calls regarding concerns about her safety and well-being. All individuals checked for release and bail conditions during the night shift were found to be in compliance.
On March 5, two impaired driving incidents led to arrests. A driver, showing signs of impairment, was arrested after testing positive for THC, while a second driver failed a standard field sobriety test and was arrested after further testing showed signs of impairment. Both drivers' vehicles were towed, and further tests will determine the drugs involved.
