The Pembina Valley Auction is back, offering exciting experiences—including prehistoric adventures from the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre (CFDC) in Morden. Up for grabs are two passes for the CFDC’s Dig Tour and six spots in their Summer Day Camp.

The Dig Tour is an unforgettable, hands-on experience where participants work alongside expert paleontologists to excavate 83-million-year-old marine fossils at the Manitoba Escarpment. Led by CFDC’s Gerry Peters, the tour includes transportation, lunch, and training in real fossil excavation techniques. "There's nothing quite like brushing aside 80-million-year-old mud and uncovering a fossil for the first time," says Peters. "It really gets the heart pumping!"

For younger explorers, the CFDC’s Summer Day Camp offers an interactive way to learn about prehistoric life through hands-on activities designed for kids. With six spots available in the auction, it's a perfect chance to give kids an unforgettable summer experience.

These unique auction items add to the incredible variety of goods and services available this year. "People are ecstatic when they find a fossil," says Peters. "Since 2008, we’ve had a 100% success rate—every single tour participant has found at least one fossil!"

The auction starts March 12th, so get registered now! Visit this link, sign up, and start bidding. Don't miss your chance to dig up history—place your bid today!
