The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) announced their award nominees on Thursday.
One member of the Humboldt Broncos received a nomination as Jacob Strizzi has been nominated for Forward of the Year.
This season, Strizzi ranks second in the SJHL in points (66) as of March 6. He is third in the league in goals (28) and is also third in the league in assists (38).
Strizzi has been named the winner of the Forward of the week on four occasions this season and was named to final selection camp for Team Canada West at the World Junior A Challenge in Alberta.
Also nominated for the Bourgault Forward of the Year is Reilley Kotai of the Melfort Mustangs and Jaron Desnoyers.
The award winners will be announced on March 19.
