Pheasants here, pheasants there, pheasants everywhere. Southeast Saskatchewan has an overabundance of pheasants this year. It doesn't seem to matter where you go in the country, you will find a lot of pheasants along the roads. I almost feel like I'm in a parade when heading north on the 47, just north of the bypass. You'll experience pheasants on your left, pheasants on your right.
For whatever reason this guy forgot he had wings, he felt the urge to just trot along beside me for a quarter of a mile. He periodically stopped and fluttered his wings but made no attempt to take flight. I surely obliged him by taking several photos.
