Humboldt Broncos goalie Dazza Mitchell was recognized by the SJHL as he was named the Canterra Seeds Saskatchewan Player of the Week.
Mitchell was in the crease for Broncos game this weekend, as he made 26 saves on Saturday to help Humboldt clinch a playoff spot with a 4-1 victory over the Notre Dame Hounds.
On Sunday, the 20-year-old made 32 saves as the Broncos were defeated by the Kindersley Klippers 2-1 in a shootout.
Since being acquired by the Broncos at the trading deadline, the Regina product is 8-4-1-2 with a 2.45 GAA and a .931 SV%.
