Senior Hockey League action is beginning to wind up around the province.
In the Long Lake Hockey League, game two of championship finals is tonight in Drake as the Canucks host the Foam Lake Flyers. Drake leads the best of five series 1-0 after they picked up a 4-3 win in Foam Lake on Tuesday. Game three will take place in two weeks on Friday, March 28 in Foam Lake.
The reason the championship final will be paused for two weeks is because Foam Lake is battling the Wilkie Outlaws in Provincial ‘C’ finals. Game one of the series is Sunday at 5:00 in Foam Lake. Game two is in Wilkie on Saturday, March 22 at 7:30. If necessary, the deciding game is in Wilkie on Sunday, March 23 at 3:30.
In the Wheatland Hockey League, the Tisdale Ramblers face the Kinistino Tigers in the league finals. Game one is tonight in Tisdale, with game two on Sunday in Kinistino.
Over in the Twin Rivers Hockey League, the Allan Flames meet the Willow Cree Chiefs in the championship final. Game one goes Saturday night in Allan. Game two is Friday, March 21 at the Beardy’s Memorial Arena.
