The Cochrane Chaos are facing an uphill battle in the AJFHL championship after losing the first two games of a best-of-five series at home over the weekend.

The Edmonton Wolves shut out the Chaos 4-0 in the opening game on Mar. 15, then capitalized on a two-goal lead early in the third to hold on for a 4-3 win on Mar. 16.

On Saturday, the Wolves jumped to a 2-0 lead in the first and added two more in the second and third.

Assistant coach Sarah Nusl says the Chaos showed growth in their play in the second game, something they aim to build on this weekend.

"They're definitely a strong team," she says. "They're boxing us out in shot opportunities, so it's a matter of us getting some sustained zone time to create some offensive chances."

The puck drops for Game Three at 6 p.m. on Mar. 22 at Edmonton's Castledown Rec Centre.
