HCI serves up the green on St. Patrick's Day

The hospitality mats were out once again at Humboldt Collegiate with their annual St. Patrick's Day pancake breakfast. The wearing of the green meant a healthy topping of mint coloured whipped cream and a side of glistening red strawberries to make the plate a fully festive feast. 

Behind the scenes teachers were busy flipping and folding the breakfast staple, sizzling up sausages, and brewing a vat full of coffee to satisfy the early morning breakfast bunch. 

Students filed into enjoy a wonderful breakfast, as did community members with many alumni and former teachers, all of whom gathered for the annual event. Hats off to the staff and students at HCI for upholding this great tradition.
