The Weyburn Beavers held their annual Sports Dinner fundraiser on Saturday, hosting guest speakers Sportsnet Central baseball analyst Jamie Campbell and former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher John Axford.

The event saw a strong turnout and featured a silent and live auction. They also revealed the new Weyburn Beavers logo and jersey design for the upcoming season. Campbell and Axford were given the first two hats with the new logo, the third was sold in the live auction. 

Mayor Jeff Richards, Mark Stiles with the WCBL, and President of the Weyburn Beavers Garnet Hansen spoke as well, sharing on the team's impact on the community, and what's coming up in Beavers' baseball this summer.
