The ECS Senior Girls Basketball team put up a strong fight in their regional playoff run but saw their season come to an end on Saturday.
The Elecs entered the tournament as the fourth seed out of 10 teams. They opened with a crucial win over fifth-seeded Yorkton, advancing to the next round. However, they then faced a formidable opponent in top-seeded Swift Current, who proved to be too strong.
Despite the loss, the Elecs had an impressive season, showcasing determination and skill throughout. With their victory over ECS, Swift Current secured a spot at Hoopla, the provincial championship, along with Prince Albert Carlton.
Though their season ended earlier than hoped, the Elecs can look back with pride on their performance and growth throughout the year.
