The Cochrane Community Gardens Society (CCGS) and Cochrane and District Horticultural Society (CDHS) are celebrating their 15th and 20th anniversaries by giving back.
They kicked things off at the Coldest Night of the Year event in Cochrane raising nearly $5000 for Helping Hands.

Funds from the Cochrane Garden Expo and plant sales will also support the Helping Hands Meal Team and Big Hill Lodge.
Future initiatives include fundraising for the pediatric room at the Urgent Care Centre.
A members-only Garden Party is planned for August, and the Cochrane Community Garden Group is now registering gardeners for its Glenbow School community plots.
