The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) announced the winners of the regular season awards on Wednesday.  

The big winner was Flin Flon Bombers Goalie Matthew Kieper who was named the SJHL Most Valuable Player and the Goalie of the Year.  

Kieper ended the season with a 23-2-1-1 record with a 1.80 GAA and a .935 SV%/.  

He becomes the first player to win both the MVP and Goalie of the Year since Humboldt’s Royce Ramsey did so in 2021-22.  

No Broncos claimed a regular season award. The only player was Jacob Strizzi, who was nominated for Forward of the Year, which was won by Yorkton’s Jaron Desnoyers.

SuperU Defenceman of the Year: Nicholas Andrusiak, Melfort Mustangs 

IKS Media Rookie of the Year: Max Chakrabarti, Weyburn Red Wings 

SCSA Coach of the Year: Trevor Blevins, Melfort Mustangs 

Canterra Seeds Saskatchewan Player of the Year: Rylan Silzer of Swift Current, SK, La Ronge Ice Wolves 

SJHL Scoring Champion: Reilley Kotai, Melfort Mustangs
