A tentative agreement has been reached between the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 520 and Calgary Catholic School District that could signal a return to work on Mar. 24.
Support workers of Cochrane's catholic schools are represented by this union.
CUPE 520 will hold its ratification meeting on Thursday. If members agree to the settlement, employees will return to work on Monday morning.
Like other deals reached by CUPE locals this week, it's a four-year agreement ending in August 2028, state CUPE Alberta officials. The wage settlement is reported to being higher than the provincial government mandate.
