For the third straight year, the Sylvan Lake Wranglers will face the Okotoks Bisons for the Heritage Junior B Hockey League Championship banner.

The Wranglers were the top team in the Northern Division during the regular season with 69 points, while the Bisons led the Southern Division with 65 points.

Sylvan Lake finished off the Red Deer Vipers in the semi-finals over the weekend with a three-game sweep. The Bisons knocked off Medicine Hat in four games.

The best-of-five championship series gets underway at the NexSource Centre in Sylvan Lake on Friday (March 21) with puck drop at 8 p.m.

Since the Wranglers finished first overall in the regular season they have home-ice advantage.

The Wranglers have yet to lose a game in the postseason.

Game 1 is this Friday in Sylvan Lake with Game 2 back in Okotoks on Sunday at 3 p.m.

Game 3 is in Sylvan Lake on Tuesday, March 25, and Game 4 (if needed) is in Okotoks on Thursday, March 27 with Game 5 (if needed) on Saturday, March 29 in Sylvan Lake.
