"I'm usually up in Canada once a year doing something," says Barrett. "Anytime you get a few nights in a row, it's the best. I hit a Tim Horton's and an Earls every time we pass one, that's where we stop."
Singtheword choir bringing book of Habakkuk to life through song ▶️
Singtheword, a choir from Waverly Church in Winnipeg, is performing the book of Habukkuk from the Bible through song form on Friday evening to help support the new album.
"We [Singtheword choir] started with performing Hebrews because we thought these albums were such a great expression of the New Testament letters," says Cadence Penner. "We wanted to put them on as a church."
Faith in colour: University students use sidewalk chalk to spread gospel
For over two hours, roughly 70 university students in Kentucky wrote out all 21 chapters of the gospel of John on the sidewalk in hopes of sharing the good news of Jesus with fellow students.
The students who participated in the sidewalk chalk project were from Baptist Campus Ministry (BCM), Cru, and Hilltoppers for Christ (HFC). They spent Monday evening into Tuesday early morning writing out the 879 verses in chalk.

World Down Syndrome Day is on March 21. As it approaches, a local mom is looking for help fundraising in support of the Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network (DSDN).
Christine Wiebe has been volunteering with the organization for about five years, and this year is hoping to raise $1,500 for it's work connecting and supporting parents of children with Down syndrome.

Winnipeg author shares hope while living with chronic illness ▶️
Winnipeg author Robyn Derksen Olfert recently published her first book, Invisibly Ill and Living with Hope, in order to inspire people who battle pain daily.
"I've been living with chronic illness for a number of years now," says Olfert. "I've had headaches since I was seven that eventually got defined as chronic migraine. Then MS got thrown into the mix when I was 28, just a couple of months after our daughter was born. Then depression came not too long after that."
