On Friday morning, a gym full of excited Cochrane Christian Academy (CCA) students gathered in their gym for the highly anticipated Beauty & The Beards event.
The crowd cheered as teachers and local RCMP officers lined up to have their heads and beards shaved in support of Camp Kindle and the Kids Cancer Care network.
Chants filled the room as kids rooted for their favourite teachers and police officers, with RCMP Cst. Nathan Moore even convinced to take it a step further, getting his eyebrows shaved off to the delight of the students.
Micheil Alzukaimi from Shears To You did a fantastic job shaving everyone's hair and beards.
The event, led by Child Development Advisor Joy Lonsdale-Calkins, brought the entire school community together for a great cause.
