The Long Lake Hockey League championship finals will be idle this week. The Foam Lake Flyers are chasing provincial glory, as they battle the Wilkie Outlaws in the Senior ‘C’ Provincial finals. Foam Lake leads the best of three series 1-0, after a 7-6 win on home ice last weekend. Game two is on Saturday in Wilkie at 7:30. If the Outlaws win tomorrow night, then game three is Sunday at 3:30.
In the Twin Rivers Hockey League, the Allan Flames hold a 1-0 lead over the Willow Cree Chiefs in the best of five series. Game two is tonight at Beardy’s at 8:00. Game three is Saturday night in Allan with an 8:00 faceoff.
The Wheatland Hockey League finals resume tomorrow night in Tisdale as the Ramblers and Kinistino Tigers are tied 1-1. Game four is next Friday in Kinistino and if necessary, game five will be in Tisdale next Sunday.
