For the first time since 2014, the Swift Current Broncos and Medicine Hat Tigers face-off in the WHL playoffs.
Medicine Hat beat Calgary 5-2 today to lock up top spot in the Eastern Conference and confirm a match-up with Swift Current in the first round.
The Tigers finished the regular season 47-17-3-1 with 98 points, while Swift Current had a record of 35-30-1-2 for 73 points.
The Broncos and Tigers split their season series with two wins each.

Medicine Hat has won five consecutive series against Swift Current between 2003 and 2014.
The Broncos won the first five series between the two clubs between 1981 and 1997.
This season's series starts Friday and Saturday in Medicine Hat.
The Broncos would then host the third and fourth games of the series on April 1st and 2nd.
