Wynyard Bears are 3A girls provincial champions following their victory in Hoopla.

It was a sensational weekend on the courts for HCAA teams at Hoopla this weekend.  

Wynyard took the gold medal in 3A girls' action, dispatching Regina Christian in a semifinal and defeating Indian Head 69-53 in a strong showing. Lanigan also medalled with the bronze match victory over Regina Christian.  

St. Brieux 2A girls bested Wilkie in a breathtaking 49-47 finish to take the provincial championship. 

Foam Lake girls fought their way to a silver finish in 2A girls with a 67-40 result favouring Preeceville.  

St. Brieux Boys took 2A silver in their championship matchup against Saskatoon Christian.  

Hats off to all the provincial competitors and basketball season wraps up once again in the SHSAA.
