The Mortlach ATV Derby is making its return!
On April 12, quads, side-by-sides, 4-wheelers and bikes will hit the mud, travelling around 50 km of coulees and farmland. The ride begins with a shotgun start at the Mortlach Rink, with a hot dog lunch provided at the halfway mark.
Lindsay Newsham is one of the organizers of the event. She says that proceeds are going towards the Mortlach Rec Board.
“We actually have just started renovating our kitchen there. It’s almost done; it should be done for this rally. Mortlach first responders will be making dinner in it for the first time at the event.”
