Swift Current's Rhett Dekowny earned some attention for a strong final season in the Alberta Junior Hockey League.
Dekowny was nominated for the AJHL Most Dedicated Player award after a regular season where he captained the Canmore Eagles.
He 27 goals and had 32 assists in 52 games for the Eagles this season.
Dekowny was one of three nominees for the award that went to Devon Xtreme Captain Jaxson Martin.
Dekowny received additional recognition earlier in the season when he was named the February AJHL Player of the Month.
His Eagles are tied 1-1 with Drumheller in their first round playoff series.
