We are thrilled to announce that Fergus, a 10-month-old Sheltie, is the winner of the March Perfect Pet Contest! Fergus's owner, Janet, shared some wonderful insights about him in her submission and during her interview on the SUN 102 Morning Show.
Fergus was born last May and joined Janet's family in August. Janet's daughter bought Fergus for her after they lost their old dog, and he has been a cherished member of the family ever since. "He fit right in. He's been really good in the house. Hasn't had very many accidents when we first brought him home and yeah, we're really thrilled with him," Janet said.
Beyond being a loving companion, Fergus keeps his family entertained with his comic personality and impressive smarts. He is still learning new tricks, including sit, shake a paw, and roll over. He also likes following Janet everywhere, including to the bathroom. "Don't know what he thinks he's going to miss," Janet joked.
