4,000 people without power near Assiniboine Park

Around 4,000 customers are without power on the western side of Assiniboine Park on Tuesday afternoon. 

Manitoba Hydro posted on X sharing the news. "Winnipeg - about 4,000 customers are without power on the western side of Assiniboine Park and north into Silver Heights. Crews are en route."

There is no word on what caused the outage.

Crews are hoping the power will be restored around 5:30 p.m.
