The Gift of Music Society in High River is ready for another magical musical performance.
Two young musicians are playing at the High River United Church in a couple of weeks.
It's the society's annual performance of the 'Young Musicians Extraordinaire' program, which promotes local talent.
Charlotte Giraudeau is a high school student in Calgary and has been playing piano at an elite level for many years.
She was welcomed to the Academy Program for Gifted Young Artists at Mount Royal University at the age of nine, the youngest student to ever be admitted to the program.
Charlotte went on to win many awards over the years, including her latest in 2023 when she took first prize at the Franz Liszt Centre Piano Competition.
Another Calgarian is coming too, and she excels with her cello.
Sofia Fakeley will be performing as well and will be accompanied by Susanne Ruberg-Gordon, a long-time collaborative pianist.
The performance is on Friday, April 11, at 7:30 p.m., with doors opening at 7.
Tickets are $35 for adults and seniors and $10 for students.
