Yesterday was a fun day in the Country 94.1 morning show, as I was joined by Leland Flood! Leland was working/interning along with Golden West over Wednesday and Thursday. He came to us through Partners in Employment, whom do a fantastic job helping people find employment, and job placements in our community!
Leland mentioned he has wanted to work at the radio station for the last number of years, and found when asked what he liked most about his time at the station over the last few days, he said "everything!" Leland showed a great passion for radio and broadcasting and even picked up on a few tricks of the trade. I have action figures(not dolls) around my desk at Country 94.1, and I talk to them. It's a lot easier to talk to something than into a microphone, because than you are having a genuine conversation while being on the radio!
