The last weekend of March will serve as the final days for the local senior hockey leagues.
Fresh off winning the Senior ‘C’ Provincials last weekend in Wilkie, the Foam Lake Flyers will resume the Long Lake Hockey League Championship finals tonight against the Drake Canucks.
After splitting the first two games, two weeks ago, Game 3 is tonight in Foam Lake. Game 4 is Saturday night in Drake. If necessary, Game 5 would be on Monday night back in Foam Lake.
In the Twin Rivers Hockey League, the Allan Flames lead the Willow Cree Chiefs 2-1 in the best of five series. Game 4 of the series is tonight at the Beardy’s Memorial Arena. If the Chiefs win tonight, then Game 5 will be on Sunday back in Allan.
The Kinistino Tigers will have the chance to wrap up the Wheatland Hockey League finals tonight on home ice. They lead the Tisdale Ramblers 2-1 in the best of five series. If Tisdale wins tonight, then the deciding Game 5 would be Sunday night back in Tisdale.
