Team Canada had the bye for the morning draw at the BKT World Men’s Curling Championship at the Temple Gardens Centre on Sunday. However, there was still plenty of action.
All eyes were on world No. 1 Scotland as they took on Japan.
Scotland scored four in the second, but Japan scored four right back in the third end. But late steals by Scotland led them to a 9-7 win. Scotland now sits at 2-0 in the standings.
In other action during the morning draw, China remained undefeated stunning the United States 8-2.
Switzerland came away with a 9-4 win as Austria is still looking for their first win.
Tied 7-7 in the final end, Germany scored one to take a 8-7 win.
Team Canada is back in action with afternoon when they take on South Korea.
