It’s official! Disney World Canada is coming to Cochrane

After years of behind-the-scenes negotiations, Disney has come to an agreement with The Town of Cochrane for Canada’s own Disney World.

The theme park will see popular locations around Cochrane developed to accommodate the rides and attractions. Details are sparse but the locations so far include Cochrane Ranche and Mitford ponds. 

‘Yellowstone’ begins filming new season in Cochrane

The hit Paramount television series ‘Yellowstone’ has found a new home here in Cochrane.

Film crews rolled into town early this morning to set up a production that is expected to last for at least 18 months. 

Cochrane locked in as the future home of the Saddledome

After years of back-and-forth negotiations, the NHL has announced Cochrane as the new home to the Calgary Flames.

While details of this breaking news are limited, a new premium arena is set to be built just west of the communities of Riversong and Fireside.
