The Town of Olds will be under a level 2 water restriction starting Thursday morning. A scheduled maintenance on the South Reservoir to facilitate required upgrades will begin, ensuring long-term system reliability and efficiency.

When:  Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 7:00 a.m.

Estimated Duration: 24 hours (updates will be provided once work is complete)

Impact on Residents & Businesses:

The entire town will be affected as we operate with reduced storage capacity. While the North Reservoir remains fully operational and the South Reservoir will function intermittently during maintenance, we ask all residents to conserve water to help maintain supply and system pressure.

Level 2 Water Restrictions – Effective April 3, 2025 at 7:00 a.m.

To preserve water supply, the following uses are NOT permitted:

Residential Restrictions:

Landscape watering: lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs
Filling swimming pools and spas
Filling fountains and other water features
Washing vehicles, homes, driveways, windows, patios, paths, boats, etc.
Use of water toys
Outdoor ice or snow making

Non-Residential Restrictions:

Lawn, green space, and sports field watering
Washing of driveways, paths, patios, windows, etc.

We appreciate your cooperation in following these restrictions to ensure essential water use is maintained.
