Telecommunications work will cause a road closure in High River

Some telecommunications work in High River will cause a road closure.

Centre Street between 8 Ave SE and 10 Ave SE will be closed from 9 a.m. on Monday, April 7 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 10.

The closure will be in effect overnight from Monday to Thursday.

As part of the telecommunications work, crews will be completing hydro vac work along Centre Street.

Third-party crews will be completing the telecommunications work, which will require traffic to detour along 1A Street SE.

While the road will be closed, the sidewalk will remain open for pedestrians.

The Town is asking everyone to follow the posted signs, detour routes, and keep an eye out for crews and equipment in the area.
