The Manitoba Legislature will be transformed into a place for fun and celebration as the province hosts a Rally for Canada.
"At a time when Manitobans and Canadians are united, we want to invite every Manitoban to join us at the people’s building to celebrate our beautiful province and our great nation,” said Kinew. “Bring your kids, your family and your friends to show their Manitoban and Canadian pride and send a message – we will never be the 51st state."
The rally will feature food trucks, face painting, street hockey, bouncy castles, an obstacle course and musical performances by Fred Penner, DJ Mama Cutsworth and many others.
The free and kid-friendly event will take place on Sunday, April 6, from 1 to 3 p.m. on the grounds of the Legislative building.
All are welcome to attend.
