Break and Enter

At 11:53AM on April 6th there was a report of a break and enter sometime over the weekend in the 300 block of 12th Street. Suspects made entry by forcing an east side door. Items stolen include a security main computer, ink for printers, as well as keys to both skid steer and office. Several fire extinguishers were discharged. Ident was called out to process. The situation remains under investigation. Should anyone have any information regarding this crime please contact Brandon Police at 204-729-2345.

 

Assault

On April 6th at 2:46PM a 33-year-old male was approached by an unknown male out front of his home in the 600 block of 17th Street and was immediately assaulted. The homeowner was able to fend off the male. Police located the described male in the area. This is the second time that the same male has approached the homeowner. The 22-year-old male was arrested, held in BPS detention cells, and will attend court in the morning on April 7th, 2025.

 

Assault

On April 6th at 3:30PM police were called to a residence in the 700 block of 6th Street regarding an assault. A 29-year-old male was found to have scratch marks on his face stating his 24-year-old girlfriend attacked him. The female was arrested and transported to BPS. She was charged accordingly and released on an Undertaking with a court date of June 16th, 2025. CFS was notified as there were children in the residence.

 

Arrest Warrant

On April 6th police attended an address in the 900 block of Dennis Street to execute a Warrant. The 54-year-old female was arrested on the strength of her Warrant (Failure to Attend Ident). Ident was completed and she was released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of June 12th, 2025.

 

Disorderly Conduct

On April 6th at 9:02PM police responded to a report of a fight at a business in the 100 block of 5th Street. An intoxicated 36-year-old male found to be the primary cause of the disturbance was arrested and taken to BPS detention cells. He will be released once sober with a Disorderly Conduct ticket.

 

Breach of Probation

On April 7th at 12:06AM police conducted a persons check in the 1600 block of Pacific Avenue. The 35-year-old male was found to have a BPS endorsed and unendorsed Warrant for Arrest. He was arrested, held in detention cells and will attend court in the morning on April 7th, 2025.
